As former Chairman and CEO of MoA Funds, he managed nearly $30 billion in assets while serving in CFO and CIO roles throughout his career.

Currently CFO of CrossPurpose, a Denver nonprofit, Festog serves on the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business advisory board and Colorado Symphony Board of Trustees. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Colorado and is a published Forbes contributor, accomplished speaker, consultant, and executive coach specializing in transformational finance leadership.

Festog began his career with Arthur Andersen before serving in progressively senior finance roles with Texaco’s global operations in Bermuda, where he created IT departments and implemented transformational systems. At Zurich Insurance Group, he built the first global energy insurance business, coordinating operations across ten international locations while developing comprehensive technological architecture.

His entrepreneurial spirit led to CFO roles with RenaissanceRe’s US operations and Virginia Farm Bureau Insurance, where he also served as Chief Information Officer, integrating technology innovation with business transformation. Festog concluded his corporate career as CFO of Mutual of America Financial Group and Chairman and CEO of MoA Funds, overseeing a mutual fund complex with nearly $30 billion in assets.

Throughout his career, Festog has been recognized for his ability to bridge the gap between technical finance expertise and strategic business leadership. He has extensive experience working internationally across major insurance centers including the United States, England, Europe, and Bermuda, building operations that span multiple regulatory and cultural environments.

Currently serving as CFO of CrossPurpose, a Denver-based nonprofit organization focused on helping people navigate from poverty to prosperity, Festog continues to apply his transformational leadership approach in the social sector. He serves on the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business advisory board and the Board of Trustees for the Colorado Symphony.
